[show more]velopment with free wifi provided by One Economy, and was responsible for developing sustainable partnerships and programs promoting broadband adoption and digital literacy for the residents. She has experience in software development, business analysis, and project management in the Telecom and Internet industries, working with both multi-national corporations and small start-up businesses. She grew up as a United Nations brat, living in Asia and Africa. Tina works in the Winston-Salem, NC office. [show less]

Sonja Murray, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Planning, Chief Program Officer, leads the overall strategic planning for One Economy’s programs and marketing activities. She is responsible for expanding the company'... [show more]s work nationally through business development opportunities and strategic partnerships. Sonja manages the team that executes and delivers One Economy’s field programs in the United States including One Economy’s current $51.5M federal broadband adoption grant. For the past several years, she has also overseen a national volunteer program that includes 10-20 Americorps*VISTA members annually. Additionally, Sonja is responsible for the management and expansion of One Economy’s work in rural communities. Sonja has over fifteen years of experience working with nonprofits and engaging grassroots organizations in the economic and community development process. During her previous position as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Development at Habitat for Humanity in Forsyth County, North Carolina, Sonja oversaw federal and state funded programs while raising $7.5 million to support the building of more than 100 houses and created community partnerships that generated 5,000 volunteers each year. Sonja earned her BA and MBA at Wake Forest University and then served as the University’s Director of Annual Support, raising more than $3.5 million annually. [show less]

Prior to joining One-Economy, Patricia spent 15 years at Wake Forest University working first with fundraising for the college fund, then as a coordinator for the school's conference services program, and finally managing the staff training program.
