Community Connectors is the global version of the Digital Connectors program that brings technology and leadership training to youth and also helps technology centers build capacity, and improve their business and community skills. Community Connectors’ curriculum teaches basic computer operations, Internet, entrepreneurship, leadership development and life skills management.
In addition to training their family and neighbors, participants also work to gather local content and information for One Economy’s international web portals called Beehives. The Beehives are a place where people can find relevant information in their local languages. Community Connectors programs will be starting in Haiti, India, Kenya and South Africa.
