This national campaign empowers individuals and working families with low to moderate incomes to access free tax services online at home, at a community center or with the help of a non-profit partner.
Now in its fourth year, MyFreeTaxes provides free tax help to individuals and families who qualify in three distinct ways.
1) Free online tax filing: We operate a MyFreeTaxes.com National Tour stopping in 20 cities across the country staffed with IRS Certified VITA Volunteer Preparers who help people file their state and federal taxes online for free and maximize their potential refunds.
2) In- person tax help: We partner with more than 100 major non-profits and community organizations to connect community members to local in-person tax help.
3) Help for persons with disabilities: The National Disability Institute’s Real Economic Impact Tour builds capacity of free tax preparation campaigns to better reach and serve taxpayers with disabilities.
