Patricia Katia Murillo-Valdez

Katia translates Beehive content into Spanish. As an anthropologist, she worked for the Nutrition Research Institute, a non-governmental organization in Peru. Her research included topics such as infant feeding and breast feeding practices among disadvantaged populations. As a free-lance translator, Katia has worked for Save the Children – Cuba, and has also translated manuals for Latino immigrants working in the United States.
