Lauren joined One Economy in February 2006 as a Public Policy & Business Development Associate. Lauren's primary responsibilities include assisting with public policy initiatives, fundraising, and donor and corporate relations. Prior to coming to One Economy, she worked for two years as a Legislative Assistant to U.S. Congressman Bart Stupak where she was responsible for advising the Congressman on energy and education issues. Before that, Lauren worked as a Legal Clerk for Governor Jennifer Granholm of Michigan. She earned her B.A. in English and History of Art at the University of Michigan and received her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law. While at Indiana University, Lauren was Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal.
