At the end of April, Kelley Dunne and Rey Ramsey, Chairman and Co-Founder of One Economy, delivered keynote addresses at the Broadband Properties Summit in Dallas, Texas alongside Bob Bickerstaff, Vice President of consumer data products at AT&T. In the addresses, they emphasized the ability of broadband to power the economy and transform underserved communities.
Other speakers included former FCC Chairman, Kevin Martin and architect of the National Broadband Plan, Blair Levin, as well as leaders from the corporate, government, and philanthropic communities. The three day event included panels of experts to discuss everything from the challenges of bringing broadband into rural areas to how broadband can play a role the in the economic recovery.
